Ok, I was shooting my gun at my house the other day and it was working fine but when I took it to the field today it was leaking air out of an area on the right of the gun, near the 3-way. I was wondering if anyone could help me out and see if I could do this myself rather than taking it to the local airsmith. Sometimes I would have to push this piece of metal(in picture) forward for it to stop leaking air, in which the bolt would not always cock right and everything. Do I need to just re-time it or something? Thanks for the help. I don't even know where to start, constructive replies only please.

The leak is located near the timing rod

And I've noticed that when It leaks, if I push the timing rod forward, I guess into the 3 way body or something, the leak will stop. Sorry about the triple post, I need help though please.s |

Well it sounds like your 3 way is leaking. It probably is just a stock WGP 3 way. or it might be a shocktech 3 way. You will need to get some new O-rings. Or your LPR might be overcharging or undercharging.

Its probably just badly timed, combined with a leaky 3-way. Turn up your low pressure regulator, that should stop the leak. Then time it. -------------

loosen the set screw on the cuppler attaching the 3way to the rod. then turn it untill it stops leaking and tighten the set screw. ------------- saving the world, one warship at a time. |
