What's your favorite bike?  Post some pics of what you have or your dream scooter.  I'll start with my Harley.

Andy, is that the GSX-R600, 750, or 1000? The solid black 600 is a pure sex
machine.

750, Will keep you on your toes more than the 600 but is more forgiving than the 1000.

Should we start taking bets now on how long it takes for him to wipe out?

BTW, I will eventually be purchasing a Triumph Bonneville.

Waiting for the right family member to kick the bucket so I can get their 2004 Trailblazer. At that point I will sell my current pickup and buy one of these sweet pieces of ass:

Drops it on the first week or when he leaves the dealership.
Totals it in a month when he goes "Ooo I can make the front wheel go up when I shift!"

His family forgets him 3 months later

Does that sound about right for a liter bike?

My dad has a 750 right now, and I've been riding it for about 7 or 8 months, sans when I was hurt.  You can get a brand new gsxr1k for eighty five at Rockingham Dragway, so it's not that big of a deal.

I mean, sure, my parents are pretty wealthy.  God forbid they get to spend the money they worked hard for on their children.

Buying your 18 yearold a 170+mph 190hp motorcycle is a smart idea. I would never buy my child a bike. I would encourage them to ride, but would never buy a street bike for them. Id feel awful if they died on a bike I bought for them.

7-8 months is not allot of time on the road. Especially if you are about to step up to a liter bike. Is your dads bike a street bike, cruiser or sport bike?

Honestly, if your parents are smart, they would not buy you a bike like that.

I was under the impression that all of the GSXR line was considered a Sport bike, but I may be wrong.

I think, more than likely... If they bought "me" a bike. My dad would start riding the 1k for a while, and they'd let me have the 750 for another 6-12 months.  But, we were on the subject of favorite bikes, and that's what I'm trying to get for graduation.

You did not specify that your dads bike is a  GSXR. You just said a 750

Ah. I apologize.  I was just referring  to the 750 version of the 1000 that I want.

Just remember, the oil pickups in the gixxers are in poorly placed position. So try not to ride those wheelies for too long, you might fry the motor.

I am hoping to buy a 600 (CBR/R6/Gixxer) by the end of the summer.

HEHEHE i cant answer this question.  For one their are way too many bikes i lust for from all geners of bikes from superbikes do old skewl dirt bikes.

For pure astetics you truly cant beat a good old triumph bonnie.  And of course id want a good touring bike and a good twisty carver and a track bike and a trail bike and no frills bobber harley and well you get the point.

But in all practicallity my eventual achiveable dream set up will be comprised of only two bikes.

My current bike a 2007 Suzuki V-Strom 650 Classic.

and a Older Kawasaki KLR650.

Pics of my beast HERE

Since that pic the bikes got engeine gaurds a center stand and a tank bag.  Most times it does not have the side bags on it as well their only for long trips.

Nah just a Yamaha R1

USAF: A gissexer 750 is plenty of bike. If you buy a 1000 your a squid.

Karll: Honda CBR600RR's are nasty. Best 600 bike by far.
