If you could go back to any point in time, and meet any famous or not-really-famous person, who would you meet?

It sounds dumb, but my great grandfather. Before the depression he was pretty wealthy and owned a nice hotel where he sold bootleg liquor. I found his old snuff box with custom engravings on it. It was from 1903! Probably worth a lot. It was made in the UK before he made the boat ride over here. He fished and did stuff like that, then died of tb when my grandfather was 15 in 1930.

I thought we were supposed to meet a real person. Just kidding.
I'd probably want to meet my great great grandparents. My grandmother was full blooded Miami Indian and my grandfather was half Miami.
I'd also like to meet Teddy Roosevelt, but just to punch him in the throat. He would be way bigger than me so I think that would be a feat of its own.

Teddy Roosevelt, Abraham Lincoln, John Adams, King David. That's all I can think of right now, I didn't say Jesus because I'm gonna meet him anyway. If I had to pick just one, I would say Abraham Lincoln.

The only people who really inspired me in the past are musicians and composers. I'd have to say Beethoven.
Also, John Belushi. That man was funny. <3. Also, he was high-school buddies with my dad's friend.

But yes, it is immature.

You see it as immature, I see it as applying logic to situations. I'm not scared of religion, just skeptical of mythology and fables.
But if we're talking about real people, I would like to meet Sitting Bull and Geronimo.

I didn't think I was being immature. I was under the impression that most Christians believed that most of the events in the Old Testament including creation and Adam and Eve, weren't historical accounts but closer to stories to teach a religious lesson.
