So I have some chinese food on the way.

So I'm wondering... do I tip the delivery guy even though I allready paid a delivery fee?

I tipped him last week and he seemed quite happy, sorta seemed like it was unusual for him.

I usually tip people but I'm just thinking that I might have allready paid for the tip.

What do you guys think?

PS. The David Spade show sucks

I give unusually good tips everywhere I go-my first job was being a waiter/cook/delivery boy at a Chinese resteraunt. Not a fun job, and you work mostly on tips anyway. Of course, if you already paid a delivery fee, then...

Depends on how the person is, IMO. Polite and happy tword you, good tip. If they're meh, they get a meh tip. And so on and so fourth

Have you ever tipped 100% at a restaurant?  I tip that sometimes.

I tipped $20 on a $20 dollar bill.

My usual tip is like 33%.

And even with a delivery charge I always tip a driver like $4(They get paid).

My low tip is some people's regular tip. There were two times I left like no tip. I had to wait 10 minutes for a drink(seriously) and 20 minutes for the bill so I left a very small tip(like 10%)

The other time I had no money.....

My Chinese will be here in 15... Panda Express FTW.

I usually tip pretty decent. Anyone know if you're supposed to tip at Sonic's? My cousin used to work there and she said they got paid pretty well, but I tip anyhow.

I would be tipped once or twice a month as a paintball ref. (Great.. I can see someone taking that one out of context now)

And I hope you'll have a story to tell.

-Linus you get tipped to cheat...but you redeemed your self with the panda express.

I hate going out somewhere and thinking I have enough to leave a tip, and realizing when I get the bill that I don't.  It's so awkward.

I was at a buddies and we had pizza delivered.  We ended up leaving like a 30 cent tip.

Yeah the "keep the change" method is what I usually tip with.

That means that if you have to, you can get away with a bit lesser tip, rather than intentionally tipping someone 30 cents or something.

I tip at least 15%, usually around 20%+ Just reflex for me. I figure that to me, its just 3 extra bucks, but if everyone thinks that way, the server will get a nice chunk of change by the end of the night. Its no big loss to me, but it might makes someones night, so why not? I tip for delivery too, but I dont ever pay a delivery fee as far as I know. Besides, how do I know the delivery fee is going to the guy who delivered?

I imagine the delivery fee is going to the restaurant for the service of delivering to you. I doubt the delivery guy gets  any of it out of his low pay. He probably still works for tips.

Delivery Fees usually get all split up between the cook the company and the driver. The tip however is all his. I usually tip nice amounts i know how crappy it is to be a delivery guy. I was under the impresion that i would get whisked away to dilver pizza to a sexxy bra and panty party and then get attacked by lovley ladies for a tip.... But ohwell

There is such thing as a delivery fee?  Maybe it's just me used to the free delivery posted on all of the flyers.

As for tipping the delivery guy, it's a must.  The man that comes to my door for the chinese delivery looks like he just immigrated from china and was put back into a sweatshop-like situation.  I gave the guy a 3 dollar tip and he bowed his head and thanked me vigorously.
