Yo, im kinda new to paintball, and i was reading through the forums and looking at peoples guns, everyone is talking about "threads" and threading? what does this mean? and is it imporntant?

Different guns have different threads. Like Tippmann have new/old 98 threads and A5 threads. Some of the most common threads now are cocker threads because more companies than just WGP are using those threads.

Most guns have different types of barrel threading.

This means that your gun only uses one type of threading, and a barrel of another threading won't fit on your marker.

It is extremely important for when you buy a new barrel.
