I have a leak that is coming out the barrel. I know its the valve but what do I need to fix? Do I have to buy a new valve? I just took it apart and nothing seems wrong but when I got the gun back together it was still leaking. When I shoot for a little bit then stop its loader too. If that makes any difference.

For what gun? Im going to assume the A-5 in your sig...

Check the powertube for any cracks, then consider diving into the valve.

Its been a long time since I broke an A5 valve down, but once you get it apart, there should be 2 o-rings inside, front and rear. Usually the rear will be the culprit in down-the-barrel leaks.

Sorry. Yes it is an A-5. It only as one o-ring in the valve to seal the tombstone. I am going to check for cracks. Luckly I have 2 powertubes but only one valve.

I have taken the valve apart many times. I also changed powertubes but its still leaking.

So I just said the heck with it and got a new valve.

Would have been a lot less expensive to have flipped the seal in the pin valve seat and/or replaced the "O" ring on the plug rather than spending, what, $35 plus shipping?
