You become a moderator once you reach a certain post count. Tolga was a mod way back when, but then he was caught helping some of his friends scam newbies through pm's, and then IP banning them. He lost his mod star/powers, but not the post count.

That's just the girth. As for the length, let's just say that wherever you are on earth, I can smack you with it. As long as you're on a wireless connection, you should be safe. It can only travel through landlines. Even then, check your telephone jacks.
