Anybody know if these two play nice? I got the M16 barrel kit a few years back but the barrel sucked hardcore so I'm looking to replace it. I need a barrel that isn't very fancy and is pretty slim so I was thinking the J&J ceramic would be a nice choice. I may also throw an Apex on it at some point and I know it can be added to that barrel. Does anybody have the ceramic and an M16 shroud over it on a 98? I heard that the base of the barrel is too big to allow it to slide all the way up to the gun like it should but I can't really find any proof on the forum or elsewhere.

The barrel was terrible so I'm replacing it. I may want to throw the Apex tip on too which is why I'm leaning towards the ceramic or something with a similar design.
