Jefangel, jochen, slasherdan and that crew at a few big games me and daveellis played at the same tourny, but never said hi to eachother. I have also met tgaffner, although he didn't know it. He lives around me and played on one of the local teams. which I eneded up playing in a tourny... and we rolled em. and of course I work at the same place as Rambino and I was damn close to meeting choopie, funky, HV, patrick, and a few other, but the trip fell through. |

I have always wondered something. When you meet someone online, do you use their real name, or forum name? I mean, If I met one of you for example, I would feel like a dip if I was like "Hey USAF" to a person, but I dont know any of you by your real names, and know you as these names. So, it would be like meeting a new person (Even though we didnt accually meet). -------------

Man, you should have said something. I was so distracted by other stuff going on at the time that I forgot to look for you guys most of the time, lol. As for who I've met... At West Point a few years back I met RebCPL, Freelance, PistolPete, and ThompsonShooter. More recently at NJ Nam '07 I met Simma Down!! and his group though I didn't know it until we talked on the forum afterwards and I saw ShortyBP and possibly Evil Elvis there as well. I know what you mean, none of my Missouri (where I grew up) relatives will come visit up here. Well, almost none; I've had two family members make the trip since I got to Montana in '94. I, on the other hand, used to drive back to KC for visits every summer. -------------

I remember that game, meeting the people there was the best part of the game. I've also met Rednekk, nouseforaname, A5-Maniac and his brother, and of course, paintballworm, whose been a teammate of mine since we were kids. |

I've only met/talked to evillepaintball in person that I know of. But, I've come close to meeting jmac, pcf, whale(damn that Disney bus system), and probably some others. And I know me and Gatyr have been at some of the same events in the past. I imagine that I'll meet up with some more in September, since I'll be in Missouri, and it seems as if they are comign out of the woodwork from around that area.

Actually, I had to drive about 1.5 hours north to get to West Point. I live in central NJ so that was just inside my range for big games. I haven't gone there since though, didn't seem like there was a big enough turnout and there were some minor flaws with the way they ran the game so I haven't gone back. I wouldn't rule it out in the future though. In fact, I kind of like the fields so I was hoping that they would steadily improve their games but it seemed like they were actually drawing less people every time and not really changing much.
