Okay this seems to be my problem. First thing is first I have a 14 inch Smart parts liniar barrel. When ever I play my balls tend to go down and to the left. I have tried many diffrent paintballs, but I mainly stick with my Origin Classic's Or My Bushido balls. Money isnt that great right now so I dont really feel like spending money on a flatline or an apex right now. So i was wondering for a quick fix could I just turn up my velocity abit to try and straiten them out or do Smartpart barrels just suck?

                                                     Thank you

Smart Parts barrels are usually good. Are your paintballs round and dimple free? Is there any paint in the barrel? Try cleaning your barrel, gun, and paint

I pay around 70 dollars a case (cdn) so I would hate to hear that there would be dimples in my paintballs. I squeegee(Huge sp) my gun after every round just in case. I do however Have Camo tape on my barrel and it covers the rows of holes at the tip of the gun.

Try removing the tape (will make your gun quiter, although its probably not the problem) and turning down your velocity a tad.  I like to keep mine around 265-280 because I find my balls fly more consistantly.

If it's always going in one particular direction then you are looking at a barrel issue. Try a different barrel and see if the problem goes away.

I just went out back and shot off 500 rounds 250 with the tape on, 250 with the tape off. This is what was going on. During my single shots is when I really noticed the downward drop in my shots with the tape on. Then I started to walk the trigger, and I had by the looks of things alot fewer stray balls.

2nd test I took off the tape around my barrel, and repeated the process With almost the same outcome. As for Hybrid sniper Yes the shots always tend to go down and to the left.

I've checked my balls and for the most part the balls are pretty good, aside for the rare ball that has a little bit of imperfections.

I'm going to go use my friends j&j 14'' ceramic(i belive it is) and ill see if that has any changes to it. If not what do you guys thing is a better barrel The Apex or The Flatline. Money isnt an option however i would still like to spend the least amount possible.

It's an anoying answer (and a bit cliche) but your probably going to need to try out a bunch of barells and see what you like,

but a cheeper option is comincate for the curving ball by aiming up and to the left. (but that can get annoying)

If you're concerned about accuracy, don't buy the Apex or the Flatline.  Go with a J&J ceramic or another conventional barrel.

Is the wind always blowing to your left all the time?
