Thinking of getting the R/T trigger for my 98c but I don't know if it over kill for woods ball. I have a double trigger on it and have read the it feel funny with the two together.

I can't go Electronic with my gun due to it's age so looking for something else to add on. But most of what I've read say to get a new barrel (night stick) and a HPA tank (crossfire 68/4500) and a regulator which I am searching for now.

Also looking at the Maddman Spring Kit upgrade but wondering if it would greatly improve my gun or put that money into something else.

What benefit does a rear cocking kit offer vs. the side on the 98c?

The Maddman kit really is not worth it unless your gun is not shooting around 300. There is no advantage to a rear cocking kit other than looking down the side of your gun, and keeping dirt out

R/T and double trigger = killer. I loved it. It worked perfectly for me.
A good inexpensive barrel is a J&J ceramic.
