My friend asked for some milling on his new 98 custom, so I told him for 35.00 I could hook him up. 1 week later I ended up with this.

Looks good, but you could've at least hooked him up with a milled sight rail, rear sight, and finger grooves.

He he only wanted the letters and foregrip milled. He plans to make it into a milsim gun.

Its Krylon Rust Tough Grey Primer and Krylon Camoflauge Ultra Flat Black. Thanks for the comments guys, I remember the days when I absolutely sucked at milling.

For milling the body I used a dremel, and when I came close to the body I switched to sandpaper, for removal of the paint, I used a sandblaster with aluminum oxide as the media.

Heavy grit sanding drum. And then proceeded to lighter grit sandpaper by hand.

I don't like using a dremel, I feel I'm not 'aware' enough to use one. I use files for all my milling I do.
