i was thinking it would be cool to replace the mp5 sight with a g36c sight like this so it can match the front sight

You do realize that the sights on the A-5 are correct for an MP5-K, right?

Um, you can't aim through two holes.

have you ever noticed the sights arent correct on the a5, looking down the barrel gets you a better shot then using the sights...

Ok, its for looks.  Its a good idea for someone who wants a more unique look.  Itll just be for cosmetics, like a scope.

I see this turning into a sniper talk thread by some of the posts already made.

If you are going to use the sights, the front sight on an A-5 is the post, the circle around it is just the hood and sight protector, and it also draws your eye to it. The post would be centered in the rear apreture(hole) of that type of rear sight. Someone already made a rear peep sight for the A-5, I think it was the same company that made the super-short barrels. I don't have an A-5, so I never bothered looking further into it.

You can aim fine looking through two holes, target rifles with metallic sights often have inserts that are an apreture on the front, so you can center the bullseye in it. For most purposes, you want to use a post-type front sight.

Also, the sights on most A-5's are going to be off. They are not adjustable for anything except the type of rear notch. M98 sights are fully adjustable, 98c's and x-7's are adjustable for elevation only. Every other tippmann ever has had fixed sights.

Sights on paintball guns are ok for those occasions when some tard has a foot hanging out and doesn't know it. It's nice to be able to use an aiming reference to make the shot count before he realizes he can be hit. Other than that, you're better off not getting tunnel-vision and point shooting instead.
