So, I did Isshin-Ryu Karate for a few years when I was young, made it to the 4th or 7 belts (blue), quit at age 12-13. Now I've got a blackbelt in Kenpo and Judo willing to teach me Kenpo in his spare time. Should I do it?

Its beyond jokes anymore with you. Its just annoying. Small comments here and there from well established members is fine, and most of the time fairly amusing, but when you say phrases like that in response to every single post I make, its just asinine.

If you don't want to be known as ghost rider, STOP ACTING LIKE IT.
I know exactly how you feel. Go look up my first account, spydero99. I got guested and came back completely different. It was only a few months later that I told somebody who I really was, some had known but had seen the change for the better and not mentioned it, but most didn't recognize me.
So, act different, and you'll get treated different.

No its not. If you act completely different, more mature, nobody will notice. Thats exactly what I did. Apparently the only person that recognized me at first was Tolgak, then I made the mistake of telling Apu who told all of PBC. That was 3 years ago though.

Isshin-Ryu, I just used the term more popular English term. Its an Okinawan Karate.
Wiki:
The name means, literally, "one heart method." The style, while not very popular on Okinawa, spread to the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States" title="United States - United States
via the Marines stationed on the island when they returned home, and
has also spread to other countries. After the passing of Shimabuku,
many variations of the system formed and exist to this day.
- Isshin-ryu employs a vertical punch with the fingers tucked in and
the thumb on top of the fist. Advantages vary with opinion, but it is
usually taught that the thumb placement increases the stability of the
wrist when punching, and that a vertical punch strikes with the same
force at any range instead of at maximum extension as with a corkscrew
style punch. Another advantage is that when punching, your thumb will
not get caught on an object as opposed to having your thumb sticking up
or out.
- Isshin-ryu arm blocks performed with the muscle at the intended
contact point as opposed to other styles that block with the bone. By
using the two bones to block instead of one, it thus creates a stronger
block that when used with force, becomes a strike.
- Isshin-ryu kicks are primarily snapped back after they hit a target, while thrust kicks dominate other styles.

Gahh, I had it wrong. He would teach me Kenjutsu, a form specializing in the use of a Katana. He actually carries a Katana in his car. (brings new light to CCW doesn't it?)
I think I'll do that, learn Kenjutsu and get my old instructor to re-teach me anything I forgot about Isshin-ryu (didn't forget much except the Katas). Then maybe I could do Taijitsu in college. Isshin-ryu is a very strait forward style, there isn't anything complex about it. It mainly focuses on strong attacks to main body parts, there isn't anything pretty to it.
