lets face it, just bc we're doing work we enjoy doesnt mean we always wanted to do it...tl;dr at bottom i didnt always want to go into the army...i remember when i met my half sisters bf (now brother in law) he told me how he was a volunteer firefighter, and up until about 6-7th grade i wanted to become a firefighter. things changed though, life took a different turn and interests changed. tl;dr-what job did you always want to have when you were little? and why/how did it change, if it did?

Ever since I was little (and even now) I've wanted to either fly fighter jets, or do one of the "James Bond/Ethan Hunt/Spook" jobs, though I know they both sound cheesy. I would love to be a highschool art teacher. i almost chose that as my career, but the pay is awful. so i went for nursing. right now, my dream job is to be an orthopedic nurse.
honestly. i think it would be awesome being a pornstar. a lot of people would like to be an adult film camera man, but that would suck if you asked me. you would have to seriously try and not get turned on. i can't take that teasing nonsense! i'd rather be the pornstar giving/receiving pleasure for money an fame. (not a hooker. that's something different) but i'd never do it. -------------

So back on track.... I always wanted to be a train driver when I was a little kid. Id still love to do it, but its just not where my life is headed. Once I got a little older I realized I wanted to be in the military, then I joined the Marines. Now, I want to go to college to be a mechanical engineer for GM or Ford or some car company. |

Its not really all that great of a job. You have to put up with allot of BS and stuff. Lots you need to be able to do, like keep it up for very long periods of time. Its not as good as you think it would be. Id like to be the CEO of every oil company in the world. That way I could literally control the world. there is a HUGE gripe between machinists and engineers. from what i have found engineers think machinists are cool and can do amazing things but many times ignore what the machinists have to say.
this being said i either want to continue my career as a machinist and become a tool maker. OR continue my schooling and become an engineer. for those of you who are or want to be engineers for the love of god talk to the machinists.... no LISTEN to the machinists and mechanics that have to deal with the crap you put on paper! (go change the oil on a hot 05 mustang with a v6 or a trail blazer with v6 and you will see what im talking about) ------------- saving the world, one warship at a time. |

The air force guys ive met arent very disciplined if that helps you out. granted none were fighter pilots where i have to imagine have to be pretty disciplined to fly those very expensive birds in the sky. but the ground guys. i havent seen a lot of discipline from that. yeah some Marines arent disciplined either, but some of them air force people just make me sick. My dream job was to be a Marine. accomplished that. Although there was a term in 5th grade an architect sounded cool. until i realized how it wasnt just a cool word, it involved math. so that was short lived. never did stop me from wanting to be a Marine. If I could do something else, I wouldnt mind trying out for the Royal Marine Commandos in the UK. that'd be cool. |

You don't know much about porn do you? Male pornstars rarely have careers that go anywhere. There are a few very rare exceptions, but for the vast majority of the time, men in porn are just there because they need a penis for a scene, and thats it. You're just a prop, and you MUST perform on cue in front of a room full of people, or good luck getting any work in the future. Porn is really not that great of a career, especially for a straight male. |

There are not many jobs anywhere, let alone the military, that are as hard to get a decent spot in(ie, F-15's, F-16's, F-18's, F-22/JSF, etc.) in probably any aspect of jobs you could think of. STD's are extremely rare in the porn industry as constant checkups are manditory. Ron Jeremy is a good example of this, in all of his porn career which is over 1600 movies, has never got a single STD. He's had two in his life, both were before he even got into porn. But yes, Ron Jeremy is also a good example of screwing your chances as a legit actor. Ron Jeremy has from the start, and still does have the goal of being a mainstream actor. Porn was originally a means to an end, but now he's still stuck in it without any major acting work other than bit parts. |

It's funny, one of my friends was going on about Jenna Jameson the other day, so we pulled some of her pics up. Honestly if you never saw her porn, she'd be attractive, but once you've seen the degrading things she's done, she's still hot, but she's lost the mystery tha make women hot in the first place. I know, you guys are right. Would I ever take up pr0nz as a job, hell no, I'm just saying it's cool to get paid to do that stuff, although I would never pursue it. And i probably wouldn't be able to do it in front of people, which would make it really awkward, and I would feel bad doing some of the stuff to the girls that most of them have to do. I was just saying it would be a cool "experience", i guess. But you guys can continue arguing, it's entertaining -------------
