For the price that these guns are going for right now it's tough to beat. I'm pretty excited about getting a chance to use this gun but there are some things that pretty much tick me off about it and I haven't even shot it. Enough so that I might just go mech with the thing.
The trigger guard is one of the worst designs I've ever seen. It may be like governor on a golf cart so you won't go too fast but it's damn near impossible to walk this trigger. I think they did it on purpose but won't elaborate on this until I get behind the trigger.
The manual-Manual? It looks like a general paintball safety handbook. Worst in the business
The stock barrel bore is way too small.
no input gauge? OMG WGP, OMG Adding a gauge to the reg. won't get it done)
Intergrated dove-tail was a bad decision. I really wanted to use my check-it uni on this gun but I ended up using an SP on/off. sigh.....
The software for this gun makes me think that this gun is for rentals. 0 options. I mean 0. They tried to make the board do too much on it's own and at the same time it ties the users hands. They definately didn't follow industry leaders when they made the decisions for it. My feeling is that the board was designed around "not chopping balls".
Supposedly the parts are pretty good but rather than considering this a low-level Karni, it's more like a trilogy with cool milling.
I personally think that WGP should be embarrased of themselves on the decision to use select fire on a $600.00 gun and their manual. I'm not saying it won't shoot good and will be able to elaborate more after I use it.
It should make a very cool mech cocker and I love the milling.
The fire sale could mean 1 of 2 things. No back block or WGP is getting out in 08. Sad either way IMO
Even though they are giving these things away my opinions are based on the target price range that the gun was intended for.
