Bill Bailey's World War II Tour of Duty Series is stopping outside St. Louis, MO for the Battle for Berlin. Join the Russian forces as they push into the German captial or side with the German defenders as they attempt to repel the oncoming horde. We're looking for a repeat of last year's great game.

Ok, to be honest I first looked at the date, laughed heartily, and closed the thread. Now I've given it a bit more thought I'm considering it. I hate the cold, but I'm really feeling like a scenario game and it's not that far from here. I'll let you know if I register.

I attended last year’s game and we did have a few snow flurries before the start time. However, things cleared up later in the morning and I think the highs reached the mid 50s. It is November in Missouri so there’s no telling what you’ll get.

There’s also a WWII Tour of Duty game south of Kansas City in early October. The Battle of the Bulge takes place in Holden, MO and usually draws 200+ players.

Here's a link to that game: http://www.ww2tourofduty.com/custompages.php?id=30 - http://www.ww2tourofduty.com/custompages.php?id=30

Now you're talking. That's much, much closer to KC for me. That would be doable if it weren't on my birthday. I already have plans to paintball then. It may be possible to change the plans to include this, but that's an outside chance at best.

I had a blast this year as the Germans pulled out a victory. The playing field is very diverse and makes for an interesting pace. We couldn't have asked for better weather, cool (55-65 degrees), dry, sunshine, and low humidity. The game is scheduled for about the same time next year. I'm already looking forward to it.
