Which Tippmann is "better" for woodball/scenario? The 98c or the A-5?

Either works. Both are great guns.

Try searching as there are numerous threads answering this same question.

I've always preferred the 98 just because barrel cleaning is so much easier/faster with it.

The A5 is more customisable though isn't it? My A5 has a

sound that stands out from the 98s on our field(not sure that is a

good thing)

Only if you count in aesthetic upgrades. The 98c has more performance upgrades though.

I am partial to the A5 and have owned both.  Alot of that is because I enjoy using the flatline from time to time and I prefer the connection method used with the A5 to the 98.  I also love the cyclone feed but you can get that put on a 98.  I am not sure of the effects that would have on the cleaning method you can use with the 98 normally.

I am partial to the A5, taking into account that I have never owned a 98. A5 barrel is easy enough to clean, just unscrew and clean. Is the 98 really that much easier to clean?

hammerhead barrels are great to get for the 98...or anygun for that matter, i hvae a hammerhead torpedoe series 14" barrel and it cleans itself when a ball breaks in it...no need to squeege till after the game, its amazing

what he means in that matter is that 98s threads are so bulky, it only wraps around three times, so u just twist the barrel three times and its off, squeege, twist three tims and its back on.
