I was watching shooter and for some reason was thinking about paintball and then I was wondering, will there ever be an end to woodsball. Think about it, one day there will be
a. All of the natural forest will be cut down
or
b. The Government will own all the remaining forest and not let us ballers into their forests because we will "wreck" it
so my question is do you think that there will ever be an end to woodsball and we will all have to (or get to) play speedball indoors
or will woodsball alwase be an important part of north america
or does future planning and fantasiceing hurt your brain too much
give me your perspective

If all the forests were gone, I think that woodsball would be the least of our worries at that point.

Maybe it's just because I live in a rather rural area, but the idea of all of our forests being destroyed for development is laughable.

I was also thinking of the out-lawing/ban myself too right after posting this
and I think if we where running out of forest the government would plant trees or something

...
The woods would be gone because of development, so therefore there wouldn't be anywhere to plant them.

they're going to make synthetic woods and surround it with glass and everytime you begin to play paintball a little 5 year girl is going to point and say, "Look Mommy, they're playing! Tap the glass to make them come over here!"

I doubt it, but who knows. If you owned land with woods you could just refuse when the government tried to buy it and then use it for woodsball.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but paintball fields are private land. Therefor there will always be someone with enough land to charge a fee for you to play in. If woodsball goes the way of the dinosaur it will be because of the players, and not the lack of playing fields.

Nah, despite what the media would have you believe, we've got more global forested square footage now than we did 10 years ago. The industry changes made in the 80's and 90's pretty much resolved our deforestation problems.
And on the legislation front, I seriously doubt they can make it illegal on a Federal level to play paintball on private land and/or in state parks. They would be seriously overstepping their authority here. Any legislation they pass would apply to Federal land only.

as soon as they outlaw paintball, people will start playing in parkinglots, malls, peoples houses who banned it, etc. no way we would let it be banned without a fight, no woodsball= mad people with loads of freetime and paintball guns... illegal things will attract idiots and hasnt everyone looked at a parking lot and said, wow those cars would be excellent bunkers?

Nah, not really. I kind of doubt that anything like that would happen.
And no, I have never ever thought that cars would make good bunkers.

even if they did cut down every tree in the world, they could always make artificial forests.

He doth speaketh truth.
All your property you own isn't yours. The government can still take it, but in most states they have to offer you some money for it first. Which is kinda ironic because they control the money anyway.

They also get to choose the appraiser that tells them how much it's worth. And if you try to take your own appraiser to court, you lose. And then you end up with nothing. I know people that it's happened to.
