All the airport is, is a wirless router that is made by apple. I don't know how
good the new one is but the older one we had worked flawlessly if you want
more infor go to http://www.apple.com - http://www.apple.com

We must be thinking of two different things because all the airport is, is a
wireless router so you can have internet withought wires giving that you
have a wireless card in your computer.

A new version of the Airport "box" allows you to hook up a stereo and play music through the stereo from your computer.

Someone who's asking a self-proclaimed "computer r-tard" probably has no business mucking with wireless stuff. If you can't set up the security yourself, don't bother.

Well I have seen those airports before and they are not the greatest you
would be better off getting the full sized airport or something like a lynksys
router.

They had 'em at my old school. Worked fine throughout the entire school. It was a fairly small for a school but giving that your sister is going to be using it in her house she should be able to use here computer/laptop anywhere in the house.

I love mine. Took no time to set up, and I don't have to reset it once a month like the D-Link router we had.

You are all just upset because now you have to decide should I get a
windows box and get viruses or should I get a shiny apple with an aluminum
case so that no only is my computer sexy but it will never have a viruses.

Try using a creative labs product made in the last 5 years.

As for crashes, I have frozen a lot of macs in my time.

Nice grammar.

There have been virii for macs, and if you get a virus on your pc, you really don't need to be on the internet.

I simply must add a bit more to this post. My computer has an aluminum case, hasn't crashed since I built it, and still remains virus free. Where's my cookie?
