I think people just laugh at those so that they can prove their knowledge of Schrodinger's cat experiment and feel that they're superior to everybody who doesn't get it. It's not even funny. Cyanide and Happiness is usually retarded as well, but I thought this one was pretty good:  |

I am a smug tool, but I declare the OP very funny regardless of smugness. Quantum Cat jokes have been around math and physics departments for years.
