Hey guys,

I already posted this in the A5OG forum a little while back, but I figure I may as well post here too!

I have an airsoft M4 as well that I'm planning to cannibalize for the magwell and magazine and maybe even the handgaurd so I can pull it back towards the magazine section and cover the front part of the A5. Obviously my DIY mag mod well be an airthru as that's the only right way to do it, hahah. If it fails horribly, I might just go for the Metadyne AirThru Mag, but it's quite pricey...

Comments and (constructive) criticism is most certainly welcome!

Looks good. I like it better without the MP5 grip, and it sounds like it should look really good once you put that airsoft magwell on. Update the post once you're done.

Is it just me, or is that beast really long?

Anyway, nice setup, and I'm sure it'll look better with a mag.

it looks good, but how many rounds does that hopper hold? thats honestly one of the things im not a fan about with mil-sim a-5's is those short hoppers, seems like your always reloading....you should look into the q-loader or something. other than that, 9.5/10

Ya it does look really long to me too. Looks sweet though.

this baby is a full 32" long retracted and 36" long extended (half my height) hahah

gets the intimidation factor going though

well i just used one of my old paintball pod caps and taped it onto a hopper. It only holds around 20 rounds, but I'm sure if I got the tac-cap, it'll be a nice 30 rounds.

I could fit the hopper if I wanted to and still retain the 200 round capacity, but how mil-sim is it really when you can shoot several hundred rounds without reloading? depending on who you play with, limited magazine capacity just adds another aspect to the game which I enjoy. But of course different people prefer different things, and if I were to play in a big game, i'd probably stick with the 200 round hopper

Thanks for all the compliments by the way! Hopefully when I find the time to cannibalize my M4, I'll upload the finish product :)
