I like Streetlight, not my favorite Ska band, but they're growing on me.

Have been waiting forever.

Since they announced the January 2007 release.

Their website says they never said that, but they must have been drunk on tour or something. They said it at a show

Can't wait to see them again because when they headline they are so good.

I prefer the Catch 22 version of Kesiby Knights (sp?).

Really?...It sounds so bad comparatively.

But whatever floats your boat.

So I got the album.

I can honestly say that it is as good as its reputation. Front to back, it is amazing.

Who else got it, any reviews?

I've had it for a while, the only song I don't really like is Down, Down To Mephisto's Cafe.

I tried to be a SITB abstinence pledger. I had a bootleg copy, but didn't listen to it until I went and purchased a legit copy when it released.

Weird, I know, I don't really know why I did it.

The horns are very different in Mephisto's Cafe. They kinda remind me of Little Mermaid.

I don't think it is bad, but the horns on that track are really peppy, nothing like any of the other tracks.

Also, Thinking about purchasing the album, but money is tight, just how good is it? Piracy good? Or better-than-a-few-meals good?

Out of the mouth of Tomas: "We already got paid for the cd, so buy merch"

Piracy and buy a tshirt . I bought it though.

I definitely downloaded it first because I saw them the day it came out.

It was awesome because they played the 2 BOTAR songs, and alot of the new album.

We had a little circle of people that knew every song they played. Alot of people stood there for the new stuff and BOTAR.  It's funny seeing the people that stole the album before it came out.

I wonder if the band was thinking that until Tuesday.

I can honestly say that after Everything Goes Numb, Keasbey version 2, BOTAR songs, and Somewhere in the Between Streetlight is the only band that I could listen to every song from beginning to end without getting bored.

Down, Down, Down is good, but I know what you're saying.

Favorite songs: Receiving End of It All, Somewhere in The Between, and What a Wicked Gang Are We

I found out today what it was. Upon reading the insert to the album, there is a section describing the meaning of each song, and it said Down Down to Mephisto's Cafe was originally meant to be a Catch22 song, which is why the horn part sounds like Catch22.
