Ion. All you have to do is relube the bolt either after every day of play or every other depending how much you play each time and the amount of time it just sits around.

Ions are definitely not user friendly. The easiest group of markers to maintain are basically are poppet valve markers or those similar to them. Basically because disassembly only takes a minute and there are very few o-rings to lube.

The price range for these markers span from the $250 Promaster to the $1750 Ego SL-74.

To me, the Impulse was freakishly easy to maintain.  Lube the Ram, clean the bolt/eyes, wipe down the gun get rid of paint and you're done.

Ion's aren't THAT bad to maintain, but I would have to agree with Jersey about the Poppet Valves.

Agreed. But disassembly is a real pain.
