Had it pre ordered for months. My dads a psycho-game freak. One of his friends already has played it (not the beta either). What he has done is he has flashed his Xbox (haxz0rd it, not took his pants off) and downloaded an illegal copy like he does everything else. -------------

I told a friend of mine I was wanting to see the Simpsons movie, but hated going to theaters, so he brought me a copy of the DVD the next day. I thought it was going to be a camcorder recording of the movie or something, but it's an actual copy of the movie. Didn't ask where he got it, but he's apparently got a few more movies where that came from. -------------

Pre-ordered the Limited Edition as soon as the list came out. I don't even have an XBox 360 yet. I am going to steal one from a friend though... I can't wait.

Yeah, I guess they wanted to make it easier to die, so they weakened MC's weapons and armor. Makes it more frustrating than anything. They also changed the warthog alot unfortunately. Looks the same and such, but the handling is just...finicky |

I cant imagine them removing the shields. Especially with the pictures theyve posted on bungie when he is being shot and has his shields glowing..
As for preordering I did a couple weeks ago. I am gona get it at midnight. but not play it until 330pm tuesday because of work

A lot of people "acquired" a copy because they either work in a store that has received their shipments, or they know someone who does. Once the store has them, it's not hard to swipe a copy from the stock room. |

If anything it'll be far easier to get a copy of Halo 3 closer to Christmas. All those preorder sales will be coming through this week, I wouldn't expect to find too many copies in the immediate. I'll probably pick it up next week. -------------
