 Hey guys, Rod here.

Bought a new X7 w/ e-grip installed & having some VERY strange issues.

Owned an A5 w/ e-grip for a few yrs prior so not new to me, but these probs sure are...

First day I played w/ the marker, about 1/2 way thru the day the red LED continued to flash indicating low batt. Replaced w/ brand new batt. Chucked old battery.

2nd day (following weekend) same thing. Another new batt but took old 1 home & tested on regular batt tester (not a dmm) but tested very close to full charge.

3rd day (following weekend (yesterday)) started having troubles getting grip into special firing mode - would only do semi but fiddling with selector was able to get into safe auto - but briefly would cut in & out. Finally about 1/2 way thru day the e-grip stopped working altogether.

Red LED constantly flashing so took e-grip removed from marker to pro shop w/ another brand new battery - load battery, LED flashes green but absolutely no solenoid movement. Open grip everything looks fine. Pro shop won't comment outside of call Tippmann since I didn't purchase there. Finally after taking trigger apart & reinserting we find the 9v batt is close to melting hot!

Needless to say the day was done.

Took it home & reattached batt & lo & behold it works again but keeps wandering in & out of full auto back to semi.

Am calling Tippy & my seller today, will keep updated for those that may experience this problem.

Real problem is I'm playing again this weekend & w/ an organized day w/ all other employees in a few weeks - I NEED a functioning e-grip!!

Uuungghh....
