So i put a response trigger on my 98c today and when i try and shoot and
find the sweet spot the gun is a lot louder than usual and no matter
howmuch i turn the screw its the same trigger pull. I have no idea whats
wrong.

did you install it properly? check you velocity screw. Mine sorta did that becasue the screw wasnt fully engaged. i'd take it right out then put it fully in, then unscrew a bit and try.

so just try unscrewing that one part?
