CIA arrests some guy on false charges, flies him off to Syria and have him tortured for 10 months, then realize they were wrong and apologize... So... he was sent by our government to our enemy... so our enemy could help us, their enemy? And he has no proof of this, no marks on his body?
That makes sense... I mean, I don't deny that it's possible that he was detained for a long period, it's happened... but sent to Syria and tortured...call me naiive, but I need the proof. -------------

the said thing is, is that this happens a lot. (well not along the same guidelines with the whole wrong guy thing)
it's illegal to torture people in teh US so they will send them somewhere were it is legal. It's sick, I know, and some of the criminals are just as sick, but sometimes it just seems like they push it to the max. -------------

Hell, The military will send people through SERE school for a almost two months. I don't like how the BBC makes it seem like it was the US' idea, when they don't offer any evidence (except for a couple of apologies) and Canada is the one that ends up paying him... meaning they probably had a big hand in the matter. -------------
