If I could live in ANY state in the US and not have to worry about whether there would be a job that paid me well enough, I'd move to the eastern part of WV around Snowshoe Mountain.

It's hard to imagine how the Patriots could possibly be overrated, given their performance each week...
Anyway - I have lived in New England, the West coast, Southern Midwest, and Northern Midwest, in city, suburban, and rural. They all have their ups and downs.
In the end, however, I prefer upper Midwest suburbs. About as "boring" as it gets, which is their main strength - that there is no real weakness. Not too many people, not too few people. Easy access to cities if you want, easy access to wilderness if you want. No natural disasters, insignificant crime rates, rational real estate prices, decent weather.
Hard to beat the ease and convenience of suburban living, particularly in the greater Chicagoland/Milwaukee/St. Louis/Minneapolis corridor. If you want some specific excitement, planes are plentiful to take you wherever you want to go, and then you can come home to casual convenience.

If by "it grows on ya" you mean it gives you cancerous growths from all the medical waste on the beaches and pollution in the air.... yeah, I can see that!
A recent survey showed that of those interviewed, 50% of the residents in NJ would like to move out of the state. Another 15% were undecided meaning that only 35% of the people there actually want to live there.

i dislike all american states, i prefer liquid or a crazed state. how can you say that america is the best country? your posibly the dumbest country excluding third world countries, you kill millions of people and in almost all major world wars youve came in late and made it seem like you were the heroes, when Canadas always kicked butt harder than you. your probably the most hated country, generally most people think middle east countries are peaceful outside the millitary groups. im taking american hirtory right now and its funny because it doesnt show half as many screw ups and blunders as canadian history course does. YOu may be patriotic, but generally you screw out your own people, with your gov't and ways of life. Now im going to stop, as i could go on and on, but i rather not get a strike for things i regret saying.

I don't know where you got this misinformation. I've never heard anyone call a roof a ruff or a creek a crick in the Midwest. That's more of a western, Rocky Mountain thing.
The Midwestern dialect/accent is the standard for radio and television broadcasting. It's the way people are told to talk on air, so it just seems normal to me.

It's simple. When you have a schedule as easy as theirs it's amazing how easy it is to go undefeated.
Ooooh they faced the Cowboys! Yea, the same group that couldn't stop the Bills' 25th ranked defense! The only thing more overrated than the Pats is Romo himself.
Here, I'll show you their schedule so far. You tell me which of them is worthy of mention as a "tough game."
Jets (1-6)
Chargers (3-3)
Bills (2-4)
Bengels (2-4)
Browns (3-3)
Cowboys (6-1)
Dolphins (haha)
So yea until 2 more weeks from now, against Indy, they won't be playing any good teams. And when you have that kind of schedule it's quite easy to get the numbers they're pulling.

Agreed, but it doesn't make them not good. Though I wonder how an 0-6 team scored so much against a 6-0 team?

I've traveled a lot of the US (just about every southern state, and a good many southwestern ones) and my favorites so far is Texas, Arizona and Colorado. Colorado for the mountains, Arizona for the desert (what can I say, I like deserts. They're purty.) and Texas for its rich history, beautiful and diverse terrain and culture (the western culture, not the east Texas hicks). I'm really leaning towards Texas. I've lived here all my life, the plains and the west is beautiful. We have a wonderful and rich history, and if you don't like the climate, the state's big enough to find another one.
I ignore politics. I find that if you find a nice small town in the country, gov't usually doesn't matter much.
Lone Star pride FTW.
