I've got an A5 with Response(factory). I run HPA 4500-remote. Aftermarket JCS stock w/ rear spring adjustment nut.  And a flatline barrel. Today I couldn't get it to chrony over 250 mostly around 200. Temp outside 60 degrees. I tightened the rear spring, adjusted velocity nut (with absolutely no effect). Hmm? Any Ideas?

Take the stock off and try again. Are you using an HP output tank?

It's pre-set so... I guess it is high pressure output. Thats the question, right? I'll try it w/out the stock but, then what, can I change the spring or shim so that I can use the stock?

They have preset high and low pressure output tanks. There are known problems with alot of stocks that built-in rva's. Also is your FVA screwed out flush with the powertube?

It's high pressure. Flush... not sure but I tried adjusting it to about every position. Note: used to work fine with the stock. Changed parts in the cyclone recently if that is relevant.

Thanks much Snake! I tried it with the original parts and started with the fva all the way in and adjusted out. Got good velocity. Re-installed the stock and adjusted the rva way in and bingo!
