Well...my first marker in its first version:

2nd. version with front sight, red dot and laser

I accept recommendations to make it look like a sniper rifle.

Nothing special. Do something custom that isn't the same marker that everyone else has. Also lose the scope, it is worthless and looks stupid.

i'm not really into milsim and would consider much of the stuff on that marker worthless but it does look pretty decent as far as milsim goes.

only thing is, if you're going for a sniper rifle look, you've failed horribly...

p.s. be careful with that "sniper," word around here

I like the scope but the front foregrip doesnt seem to flow very well on there.  Maybe its the size or the bottom lip of the A5.  not sure but something just doesnt seem to flow for me.

i knew a guy wiht the exact same setup(bottom pick, but he had the vert.front grip off, and he had red paint on the barrel and hopper to look like blood specs) and while at the chrono range he couldnt hit inside a hole a little smaller than a orange, from about 10-12 feet, give or take. he put about 10 all around it, me using my phantom for the 1st time, put 2 balls straight through the hole, after taking a couple steps back. thus proving snipers with sniper gun configurations are posers.

the a5 isnt really much of a "sniper" (using term losely so that there is not a meltdown) marker either.  I have an A5 and can be pretty accurate with it but lets face it, there are alot more acurate markers out there.  As for the look of a "sniper" gun, if you just want the look then go for it and dont listen to anyone that says you shouldnt do something even if they dont like it.  That includes me on my last post.  just because I dont like the flow of it should mean absolutely nothing to you.  To go more sniperish I would lose the foregrip though.  It is more assault style IMO.  Also the big shot is a great barrel, dont get me wrong, but its a little loud for a "sniper" setup since the porting is all near the front.  if ambushing (thats a better word for it) you dont want everyone on the field to know right where you are shooting from after your first shot.

The scope and red dot = auto fail. Lose them.

exactly, the a5 can easily hit something within a 10 foot range no problem, a red dot, vs properly sighting the barrel is best. that extra weight, and scope are just a hinderence

The sight rail just doesn't go with the look of the rest of the marker in either configuration.

Man, you guys are tough. It is his first marker in its first version. I like the M16 look a lot. Just get the right carry handle and a mag for it and it will look pretty good.I love milsim and will have nothing else but I went from the bulky M16 down to a MP5 sized marker. I would get rid of the scope on Ebay and keep the red dot if you like it. No paintball marker is that accurate or had the range to need a scope.

PS. Take the MP5 sights off too.

A clip would set it off, but what about that top carry handle?
