| so i just picked up a 98 custom a week ago along with an adjustable car stock and and apex barrel and had it installed at my local paintball shop. i took the gun out the next to play and noticed that when i cock the gun and slide the bolt back if i dont push the bolt back forward (it moves just a hair) then it wont fire when i pull the trigger. ive come to the conclusion that it isnt pushing the sear forward enough to contact the trigger so after every shot i have to put forward pressure on the bolt. it sucks. any ideas? thanks! |

| I'm going to utter more or less the same answer as thejudge but if you're any good with measurements, have a good look at the depth of the hole that the Drive spring and Guide pin sit into as compaired to your stock end cap. I found there was quite a difference when I bought mine and had to put shims in to fill the hole to correct the depth. |

take some kind of hard material (whatever you have will probably work), cut it to size and put it where you need it. in this case, put it inside the hole where the drive pin fits in the cap. ------------- CPro (w/ polished internals) 14" Bigshot BT SBS Various Rails NcSTAR D4B Macro AA 68/45

The other possibility is that you've got the body screws torqued down too much and it's keeping the sear from moving forward as the receiver halves push in on it. ------------- <Removed overly wide sig. Tsk, you know better.> |
