So here I am, browsing teh interwebs and I come across http://friendlyatheist.com/2007/09/26/heroes/ - this article.  Lo and behold one of our very members read and commented on the same article months ago.  I just thought it was interesting to randomly see a forum member somewhere else on the internet.

I decided to take it out because that is not what I wanted this thread to be about and a massive hi-jacking was inevitable.  I just wanted to share my surprise at finding him elsewhere.  If you really want to see what was here, click the link and find his comments.

My family is from Kansas City.

My dad met a guy he knew in high school while we were at the bottom of the Royal Gorge in Colorado waiting in line to go back up.

My grandma went to a country music show in Nebraska and met a guy she used to babysit for some 60+ years previously.

You don't have to say the "So help me God" part.

It was revealed later in the argument, and I admitted to being wrong.

As for the rest of it, I have to add that my respect for them is more a result of their understanding of the constitution... that they know equality should not be restricted on the basis of religion/sexual orientation/political beliefs, unlike what many religious service members (I've talked to) think.

How the heck would either of them recognize each other?  That is crazy.

I hate that ride, it's annoying, and to some extent a little freaky.
