I am not asking for anything.

New lenses for my new kawasaki, turn signals, and break light.

We just get money now days, even then its hit or miss. I definatly dont ask for electronics, just because I would get bored with them in no time.

Plus my parents usually get a clothes throughout the year when we need it, or just want. That kind of makes me sound privileged but we only hit up the clearance, and most of the time its at walmart. Not to rag on walmart though, those clothes fit me the best for some reason.

Not totally sure yet, but some ideas:

A few lessons towards a Class A skydiving license.

Money towards a high performance/complex airplane endorsement.

I'm still unsure of what I really want.  It needs to be something I can use in college next year too.  A lot of the things I've thought of I couldn't use there (except the aforementioned things).

EDIT:

I've been seriously thinking about an iPhone, but I would have to switch carriers.  Though it is probably the most practical, and something that I would use all the features a lot.

Air ride for me truck. (or at least part of the money for it) As a nice note I got most of any problems the truck had before worked out and a new bed in it(new thread + pics soon). Now I just need the dough and the slim chace of finding a kit that might actually come close to fitting the truck.

Likewise. I simply asked for Scheels giftcards and a battery for 360 wireless controller. Although I did mention to my parents they could possibly give me a wireless controller too.

I had a pair of Cutco shears for years and years, they'd go through anything. Then some asshat at work lost them. I paid $50 for them, which seems a bit steep for a pair of glorified scissors, but then again, I use them a lot in my profession.

Don't do an exhaust first. If your gonna do anything, do intake followed by exhaust.

Ricer. Spoiler and euro tails eww. Don't get a spoiler unless you need it for down force.
Euro tails are ugly as sin and don't really match things well unless you have a donk and want something outrageous. Ask for some tail light tint(Nightshades spray tint) and tint your stock tails. Tinted tails would look sweet on your TC

Any other car people out there. Ask for a claybar kit for xmas, wonderful things to have if you like having clean smooth glossy paint + they are only 30 bucks

Well I want the intake more than anything. I'm just trying to find the legality of it. I like the Euro's compared to my stock 05 taillights. I wouldn't mind getting some stock 08's and tinting those. I kinda want a short shifter because the throw on mine is just a little too long for my liking and a new knob that fits my hand slightly better.

Andy, a tC is a pretty nice car. They are not as easily riced as an Honda Civic, but they are pretty tunable.

Robo, TRD intake is completely legal in all 50 states.  But, makesure you get a bypass valve. Its more money but its going to be worth it. Also, which set of Euro's are you looking at? I know Scion sells some nice looking ones for the tC. Either way, nobody want anybody here says, its your ride, do what you will enjoy.

-------------

Posted By: RoboCop
Date Posted: 25 November 2007 at 5:33pm

I was thinking of a cheaper intake, but no matter what, it would have a bypass valve even if it was only a short ram. The euro's are the TYC that toyota sells. I would definately get the black ones that match the car.

The TRD intake says it's not CARB exempt. Is that only for California?

I'm torn, cause Nvidia just started its rehashes of the 8xxx series cards, and originally I was going to just ask for a little help from my folks to get an 8800 Ultra, but I know it won't get a G92 core till maybe February, or they might opt to let it die and focus on a whole 8xxx card.

AMD just put out the first Phenom but its suffering from the same clock bug the Intel's were having, plus this first generation isn't so hot, so I don't want to touch that yet.

I suppose I could ask for a little help getting a new processor and more RAM, build a benching rig out of my old stuff and pick up some RAM, a PSU, a decent case and a mobo for it.

I'm going to strongly recommend the M-Audio MobilePre. That
preamp/mixer you linked to looks pretty shotty, and it's well worth investing in
something sturdier if you're going to get into recording. The MobilePre USB
connects directly to your computer and makes recording and editing really simple
and intuitive (if you know the basics). Unless you're trying to record a full band,
you're pretty much set with the
http://www.zzounds.com/item--MDOMOBILEPRE - MobilePre .

As for mic, I've found that the Audio-Technica AT2020 is the best quality for the
cheapest price. I've had great luck with it.

i hate asking for anything for christmas or my birthday. i just hate how it seems like im entitled to or my parents are obligated to buy me stuff.  so i usually just tell them i cant think of anything and they get me a visa giftcard, which is very helpful.

That being said, i would kind of like a decent pair of earbuds, or maybe a basic, albeit decent sound system for my car.  a single 10" sub and some decent speakers.
