Here in STL we are were supposed to get rain mixing in with sleet and freezing rain, but now they're only predicting rain.
This exact same time last year, I was without power for a week because of an ice storm.

Luckily, I'll be transferring in Houston. Baltimore's supposed to have some nasty weather tomorrow night, but hopefully, I'll be out of here before that hits.
Oh, and by the way, Maryland sucks. Hard.

We're getting hit hard by this one later today. I've had to change my travel plans to get back to the base mid afternoon instead of late evening so we don't get caught in it. We're supposed to get lots of blowing snow, freezing rain, ice pellets... All the fun crap to drive through.

It was icy last night, but it rained hardcore all day today. If it freezes it's going to take forever to get to work tomorrow; it took around twice as long as usual today because I could barely go 25 without spinning out.
