Dear god why would they do such a thing?
I have yet to see it but I am allready predicting this to be pretty bad.
Futurama ended at the top with quality, not like the Simpsons and Family Guy which have become crappy and dragged on. Both shows made horrible full length movies.
Discuss. If anyone has seen it, i'd like to know opinions.

I have an unhealthy obsession with Futurama, I'll definately be seeing this.
Futurama was classic writing, far more inventive and original than most animated shows out there right now. I'd actually say it was superior to the Simpsons in terms of consistent quality.
Oh, and I don't see how The Simpsons made a horrible full length movie. I thought it was great, and it was pretty much a hit with critics and fans of the show. Personal taste of course, and honestly anything would be great compared to the current state of the show. They need to drop it while it still has some dignity, before it turns into total garbage.

Ditto. I'm even ranked 20th on the facebook futurama trivia quiz. Its sad really.
My buddy Stash said it was a good movie. I almost bought it in best buy yesterday but the line was 70 miles long so I figured I'd wait a bit.

Generally, I like the opposite movies that the critics do.
The Simpsons movie had the same amount of humor as a normal episode, spread over an hour and a half.
Beleive me, I am the biggest simpsons fan evar. I can recite entire episodes from the older seasons and still watch it 2-3 times per day.

That hardly makes you the biggest simpsons fan ever. Most people I know can do that. Heck, the first time I met my roommate, our conversation was based mostly off of the "I thought I was the only milhouse" dialogue.

2) I am obviously a bigger simpsons fan than you.

I hardly think buying the random toys have anything to do with how well you know the simpsons.

I hardly think buying the random toys have anything to do with how well you know the Simpson's. | But see, its not "How well you know and or can quote the Simpson's" It is about being the biggest Simpson's fan. You cannot be the self proclaimed Biggest Simpson's fan EVAR! just because you have a knack for remembering dialogue. You need to cover all sides of the spectrum.

Okay
1. Read my post. 2. It is just a start to seeing how big of a fan you actually are. 3. You didn't even need to eat at BK, you could just go buy em.

No it doesn't, it proves you're a materialist consumer. You could be the biggest fan ever, with more information than anyone else in the world and not buy any products. Totally unnecissary.

No it doesn't, it proves you're a materialist consumer. You could be the biggest fan ever, with more information than anyone else in the world and not buy any products. Totally unnecessary. | How can you say buying stuff because it is Simpson's does not in some way prove that you are a fan? I am not saying it is the only thing that proves your a fan, not even by along shot. However it does prove that you have a love for the show and having a love for the show does indeed make you a fan. Why does everyone seem so hostile today? I asked a simple yes or no question and you guys turn it into a debate. Instead of you guys actually determining who is actually the biggest fan, you instead decide to turn this around. Again.
I am not saying it is the only thing that proves your a fan, not even
by along shot. However it does prove that you have a love for the show
and having a love for the show does indeed make you a fan.
I am not trying to start anything, I am not horsepower. I am however just trying to prove my point to you guys.
