So my parents apparently have one more present to buy for me.

It has to be under $100.

Any ideas? I seriously have no clue what to ask for.

Also, post your christmas lists.

I would definitely have a touch on my list, but my parents are pretty strapped for money as it is, having to pay for my sister to go to college and all.

I don't know about you guys but I feel horrible asking for things. My dads an engineer so money is not an issue but I always feel like they will see me as ungrateful if I ask for a bunch of stuff/ expensive stuff.

If you have no idea what to ask for, ask for nothing. tell them to get something nice for themselves.

I agree .357.

Im not going to ask for anything. I think it is a little much for a son/daughter to ask for expensive presents. Isnt raising you enough! If anything Christmas should be children giving parents gifts for keeping them alive.
But i guess i am sorta a hypocrite. The other day i was wearing my dads leather gloves and told my mom how much i loved them. I wonder if i will get a pair?<insert joke> I would really love to.

I feel bad when I go clothes shopping with my mom.
It's one of the few times we spend time together, and
it's always costly, and I feel like an ass when we get home
and I'm just like..."thanks".

Haha.

I actually have no clue what I want for christmas.  I feel bad taking money, they give me money for all kinds of stuff, pay for my gas.  I dont really pay for anything.  Plus, I cant think of anything.

Maybe a 360, but Id tell them Id chip in on it.  They dont like getting me one expensive thing though, they say the tree just doesnt look good like that.

my parents are pretty relentless in getting ideas for x-mas.  I feel bad too, but less as I grew up and asked for smaller stuff that I actually needed.  Last year, my x-mas list consisted of a new bike seat, a tool box, a power drill, some poster frames, pillows, work pants, and allen wrench sets.

i had a ton of stuff to open... it was fun.

this year, i'm getting play tickets and a paintball gear bag.  i think after like... 8 years in the sport, I should get a nice bag to keep all my gear in.

Im getting the "Race to Dakar" DVD set from my family and the "Long way down" book.  I really should not read or watch this stuff i got the bike for it i just cant seem to get the time or cash to do a trip.

I got my mother kurakyn tail lights, license plate holder and silver bullet signal lights for her Yamaha V-Star (the bike was her gift from me last year LOL).

Getting my dad a gift certificate to put towards a new BBQ.

Got my sister a couple WII games (New Mario and the Simpsons game)

And got myself some stuff to get the old Mini-mag back up to par for a game in January.

Still don't know what to get Grandma (she just moved here)

I love my gear bag. It's one of those huge dye ones that you could probably fit a large midget in. One of the best things I ever bought, so much more convenient than carrying everything around.

Well a friend of mine bought an etek with a virtue for 200$, the virtue didn't work, so he sent it to P.E. and they are sending him a brand new one he's going to sell me for 50$, so i'll take it over the star frame.

Personally I think those shirts are hilarious. However I wouldn't wear them out in town, its like broadcasting to the terrorists, hippies, and all those that don't like the military that you are a Marine and they should take time out of their day to mess with you. Sure if someone asks I'll tell them I am a Marine but broadcasting that fact to the public is stupid.

and i live in Massachusetts snake. people are so freaking liberal and anti military its ridiculous. my school doesnt have rules to protect reservists who are doing annual training in the summer, or have a 6+ drill weekend where we would miss a thursday night class, or all friday classes. kids have been forced out of classrooms from anti military teachers because of that.i almost was for my thursday night class.

It's one of the few times we spend time together, and
it's always costly, and I feel like an ass when we get home
and I'm just like..."thanks".

EXACTLY! Finally someone understands and also feels the same way

I so when we go.

I know the feeling.  My dog lost sight in both his eyes, both requiring surgery.  Hope everything turns out alright.

the poor dog. thats absolutely horrible. i dont know if i could do that to my dog have her be blind. i'd get depressed about it. she wouldnt understand what happened. i'd rather put her down and save her from the pain. but thats me. i'm not in the situation so of course i'm saying that now. but if it came to it thats where i'd be leaning.

boss, my sympathy goes to you.  people really don't understand how close you can be to your dog, and the pain that can come with it's aging and such.  Stay strong man

well she has a bad case of glaucoma so shes been blind for quite some time...its just the pressure in her eyes is causing her pain...theres a few options we can take but the less costly and most efficient one that guarentees her to be fine and healthy after is to remove the eyes entirely and sew the eyes shut...as long as shes not in pain and healthy and happy i can live with her looking like that...she'll still be my sandy but just look differently

thats so horrible for the dog. they just dont understand why it happens to them and why they cant see. ugh makes me sad looking at my dog when she is sick and doesnt understand why and what not. hernose was like rotting because ofa fungis but thats reversed because of medicine, but now she spits the medicine up. its rather annoying.

You have my sympathy, I have a friend with a blind dog, but he's fine (the dog) and he can find his way around just fine, since they didn't move the furniture around.

Our first dog went blind and we couldn't move the furniture until he died. I didn't know him very well, so I was kind of unaffected. We got our second dog when I was in kindergarten. It's hard to see him get old. You can tell he does have the dexterity and energy he used to. I will be ruined when he dies. Luckily we picked up a stray last summer. He is more my dog than my fathers so I have a really close bond with him. I almost miss my dog more than my parents. I feel so much for you and wish the best for you and your dog.

Wow this turned from a fun xmas list thread to a sad time about our puppies. Weird how that works.

Does he have to have a seeing-eye human?
