hey all, i just won a used warp for like 36 dollars on ebay. The feedback and stuff looks good but the guy only accepts money orders or a cashiers check. I started this new thread to ask if anyone knew if either of these payment methods offer any protection for me, the buyer. Oh yah..and what is a money order/cashier's check and where do i get them.
Thanks.

If you plan to continue with ebay, I reccommend paypal.
Most banks will do money orders, so will the post office.
I think some are different that others so you might want to make sure you ask the place you get

If you do a money order you will get his name and address.
Make sure it's an address and not a PO box.

people tend to do money orders if they dont' want to have to wait the week or so for Paypal to EFT the money to their bank. I do deals with guys all the time that prefer money orders. That's how I paid for my M-98.

Yeah, but you don't have to pay court fees if you sic the FBI on them. Mail fraud and Wire fraud are both federal offenses and part of the sentence is usually restitution to those affected by the fraud.
