In all this time, I have never seen someone mention Hydrogen as a paintball propellant. That's because of the low potential energy, and, you know, the fact that it is explosive. Hindenburg and all that.

Air/Nitrogen tanks are the same thing, and in effect the gasses in them do the same thing. Get a high pressure output (800-900 psi output) and just screw it in.

Yep it is. There is a 9v battery that works like a sparkplug in a engine to ignite the propane.

Ya your best way to paintball in canada is to upgrade from c02, but if you want to stick with c02 an expansion chamber will help it for not freezing.

Go southern ontario!

We get like 10 days of snow in a full year.

I was walking around in a t-shirt last week, one day later, there was 6" of
snow outside.

Hey man. Glad you're excited about paintball, but I've got some tips for ya. First off, you need to watch your language here, inlcuding your sig. A filtered swear is still a swear, and the mods will get you for that.

Also, this is a forum, meaning you have all the time in the world to type a response. Spelling and grammar go a long way here.

expansion chambers can actually be bad with air... sometimes they can just slow down the flow of air to the gun.

PCF is correct; although, this usually isn't a problem until you attempt higher rates of fire.  (e-grip or response trigger.)

if you want to fork out a few hundred get a scuba tank and an hpa tank pays off sooner than you would think

carl, your from Canada? Whereabouts?
But yep, another Canadian paintballer here (toronto) who got snowed out this season . I'm talking about that one storm a few weeks ago up from Texas. Now that I can't get up to the field though, the weather is fine for paintball. Figures eh?

But next weekend...

I'm pretty excited, this is my first winter outdoors. The past 4 years have been indoor paintball winters, which I really don't like.
