First and foremost, do NOT give me grief about this. The airplane I fly is being sent to get re-painted next week, however we have yet to choose a new paint scheme. I would greatly appreciate it (maybe offer a prize) if I could get some designs from you guys, I've provided the template below. Now, there is some criteria:
The jobs don't have to look spectacular, just rough ideas. Also I should state that the main colors we're looking at are blues, greens, golds, possibly reds, and of course white. Thanks!  ------------- Suck, sqeeze, bang, blow, and GO!

I would like to help becasue I have a good idea, but for some reason my paint toolbox wont show up . No it is not just un checked in the view menu either. It just doesn't show up. If I turn it off and back on the screen just kinda flashes and no toolbox shows up. Anyone had this happen before?-------------

Ok mine looks like crap, but the basic idea is that you have the mouth at the nose complete with teeth. The bottom half will be blue and the top will be white. The wing will have some blue and gold stripes. The blue will end after the wing into a flame shape that is highlighted by gold. -------------

Thanks guys (the serious ones), the fades, splashes, waves and such are cool and all, but honestly not very professional. This airplane is used for business, therefore the "hot rod" kind of look won't fly. Planes aren't painted like cars, they have designs on them, not just 1 or 2 colors. Further, black a REALLY bad color for a plane because of heat and visual problems. Thanks for the input thus far though. If you want to look at some example paint schemes, lookup Piper Archer, Piper Warrior, and Piper Cherokee on google images. I think Tolga's is the closest to what I'm looking for so far, however I do not believe the painters can do fades. ------------- Suck, sqeeze, bang, blow, and GO!

ill try and do a general idea...but wouldnt it be sort of a bad idea to paint a small airplane dark colors, or completely dark? edit-general idea- black with a yellow strip down the side, the elevator, rudder, flaps and wing struts yellow. sort of like the new dodge charger, im a fan of those. edit again- forgot the number, but it would go on the yellow stripe  |

Plane painters can do fades, but they cost WAY too much.
Simple geometric patterns, preferably with little to no overlap and you are golden. I've got nothing to do tonight, I 'll see if I can come up with something. But I suck at MS Paint. KBK |

I actually like it, a lot Brihard. Thanks. It was pointed out to me today that paint jobs with fades cost $15-20k so that is out of the question. Along with that, bends like Tolga did tend to make the airplane look bent, I just saw a paint job like that today in person, not cool. Just make sure that whatever the design, you paint a stencil of Penos somewhere very innocuous; a landing gear strut or something...

probally too much black, it looked better than just white I though, top of the wings that blue, course you could swap the black for white cept for the tail do that same blue, keep the control surfaces yellow ------------- Smart Parts, Stupid People...
