The white stripes redeemed themselves their last album and one uppped Elephent with this one for me. Icky Thump is pretty much as good as it gets.

Otherwise, I'm obsessed with Floyd right now, they're amazing. Literal modern masters of music, you just don't get much better. Gilmour is a guitar god.

There is a physical satisfaction that goes along with owning a record on vinyl, the packaging seems a lot more special. As far as actual listening I'm fine with either. I'm sure Prod is the same. I hate Elitist Anti-Elitists.

Werd.

I'm all about vinyl just because it's way more active than cd or mp3s. I
can actively collect records and it seems way more satisfying than cds
that you just copy to your computer and then throw in a drawer
somewhere to collect dust. I like having a huge stack of records with full-sized
album artwork and I like the fact that the music is actually physically contained
within the grooves of the record. It just seems way more special.

It has nothing to do with elitism, I have way more digital music than I do
vinyl and I don't go around yelling at people who listen to cds...

Not that this has anything to do with anything, because the point still
remains that Dispatch sucks.
