Subject: Weekly Windows Won’t Work Thread.

| When I try to boot my Windows partition it stays on the splash screen. It doesn't freeze - the little bar at the bottom keep scrolling across, but it won't load. I held the power button to shut it down and restarted in safe mode where I ran Spybot, Adaware and Avast. Spybot found 50 things, adaware found three and avast found one, but it still won't boot. Any suggestions? |

Try http://www.spywareinfo.com/%7Emerijn/programs.php#hijackthis - Hijackthis and save a log file in safe mode. If You don't click the "Send Error Report" pop-up button Microsoft won't know there is a problem and won't be able to fix that error (can't type rest with straight face :) What snake said with a LOL ------------- My shoes of peace have steel toes. |

Before I saw this, I just tried to boot and selected the option that said "use last known good configuration". I realize that that should have been my first option, but as it has never worked for me before, I didn't try. Alas, it worked this time. If it does it again though, I will definitely try that though, Darur. Thanks. |
