To start off the R/T just started giving problems. Basically what it does is that it goes into a super R/T mode, it gets stuck sometimes not always when you just press it. It starts to fire really fast and freezes the lines and marker. Changed the fittings, CO2 tank was full, the R/T screw regulated it, and still nothing. So far is giving me the same problem. The cyclone wont feed when the R/T is press to fire rapidly, it does cycle when you shoot 1 ball at a time by pressing the trigger once every time, basically semi-automatic. I changed the ratchet, nothing. I changed the insides from a friends a-5 thats works just fine, nothing. CO2 tank full, nothing. Changed air fittings, nothing. Took apart the cyclone, cleaned it, lubed it, nothing. Replaced it with friends cyclone which works just fine, nothing. I've tried everything i can do in my power and nothing seems to work, i would like to see if im missing anything i might have overlooked before i take it to a shop. Thanks |

your using CO2. At high rates of fire, the marker will often begin to draw liquid out of the tank instead of gas. This can lead to all kinds of problems, including those you have described. When you say it starts to fire really fast, do you mean it fails to recock? The freezing of the lines and marker is almost certainly due to liquid CO2.

I believe it does fails to recock, i was also reading that it could happen due to the spring or sear in the trigger worn out it can cause the r/t to do this. Pretty much it fires really fast and definetly it does not feed. Now if you could please let me know what are the things other than what you posted here that might causing this things to happen if you know them of course, i would really appreciate it. Also i will try since i read that today, i will try changing the sear in the trigger and the spring to see if that fixes the problem with the r/t. I dont know what to do anymore with the cyclone. Thanks again a million for the help ;-) |

See if you can borrow a compressed air tank preferrably, or a remote, palmers regulator, or expansion chamber if you cant get HPA and see if you still have the same problems. -------------

Thats a little far out of reach for me. This is really something happening to a friends a-5 which is in my posession at the moment. I also have one. Mine doesnt have a problem, and im trying to help him on this. Also i have tried several different things like taking it apart and replacing each part with the parts from my marker. I did that for the cyclone problem which i already gave up for that one and now i have to try replacing the sear and spring to see if it fixes the r/t. I really need to get the cyclone fixed which seems the most difficult one. I've tried everything and nothing seems to work, by far everyone has been really helpfull but nobody has given me a concrete answer on to what might be causing that. So thats pretty much where i stand at the moment. Anyways i told my friend to take it to a shop already because is out of my hands, i was just trying to save him a few bucks. Thanks guys anyways and i'll check back to see if you guys give me something different i might have overlooked. |

| It sounds like on response the sear is not engageing the the rear bolt and it just going into auto mode. Check the end of the sear to make sure it is not worn, also check the rear bolt to see if the the back of the notch is square. You can sometimes dress them up with a gun smith's stone or a file. Don't take off too much metal. When you changed the ratchet did you also change the feeder axle that engages the ratchet? Also make sure all the fitings are clear of any debre that may have entered through the air lines. A pluged line or fitting will keep the cyclone from turning. |

Yes GBLoan, i think thats what it is regarding the r/t. I havent been able to check it but im pretty sure thats it. Regarding the cyclone i oiled everything and changed the ratched but did not changed the rod, it could be that the o-ring on the rod could be bad. I would have to double check. The lines i believe they are fine because once again the cyclone does turn when when there are only a few balls or none. When the hopper is full thats when it doesnt feed while using the r/t. Because the weirdest thing is that if you press the trigger once to shoot semi auto it does feed but when you use the sweet spot on the r/t it doesnt feed. Let me know now what you think, i might have explained myself better now for you to be able to understand whats really happening with the cyclone. Thanks for the help man. Much appreciated. |

| I already got the problem. One solution to two problems. The sear on the trigger was a little rounded (wore) and the spring lost tension. Since the trigger was taking more blow back air than normal than it would affect the cyclone. Now that i put the sear and spring everything works just fine. Thanks everyone for the help. |
