Yes and No. It all depends on which marker you are using, whether you leave the return spring in, or just rely on the micro-switch spring, etc. In most cases, yes, it does make the trigger pull lighter. ------------- <Removed overly wide sig. Tsk, you know better.> |

Sorry it's taken a couple of days here guys, but I was at work from 5AM to 1AM yesterday/today. I got to bed at 2AM this morning and crashed out until 11AM today. After the last weekend at work, I haven't been up for much other than sitting on my butt. However, I digress.
Ammolord: You'll be fine with either, you just need to make sure you get a hopper that will feed as fast as you shoot. I suggest a 12v "ReVLution", Empire ReLoader-II, or similar motorized hopper that can run 12-15bps. If you ever plan on upgrading to a high-end marker, you may want to look at a Halo B or ReLoader B or even a VLocity or VLocity Jr. as most prices will be dropping on those due to the introduction of the Magnadrive and other new fast loader systems. Carl, Warhammer got it. I don't know about the new custom sear set-ups, but in the old ones, you were instructed by Tippmann to put the trigger return spring back in as only using the micro-switch to return the trigger will damage the switch, making it necessary to replace it. ------------- <Removed overly wide sig. Ammolord, yes, they'll be fine on your marker. Another mod to consider to up the feed rate is the Rufus Dawg Centerfeed mod. If you go with a force fed hopper (HaloB, ReLoaderB, MagnaDrive, VLocity, VLocity JR) you'll also want to look at the double-detent mod as the stock ball detent will wear down under the stack pressure on the paintballs using force-fed hoppers. If you go Revvy/Reloader-II, you'll be fine as they're just agitated hoppers. ------------- <Removed overly wide sig. Tsk, you know better.> |

If you do get a revvy, I personally suggest you don't buy from the Viewloader brand. Even though I actually have a Vlocity Jr., my experience with their cheaper hoppers are very bad. Their cheap stuff falls apart, guzzles batteries, they're heavy, and their battery doors ALWAYS break off. Empire seems good for cheaper stuff. ------------- Indeedly |

can you actually take the spring out and have the gun work fine? cause if you can that would be great for my friends 98c ------------- tippmann custom pro E-trigger cyclone feeder 21" core barrel or 11" stock barrel 20 and 9 oz co2 tanks or Brass Eagle Talon Ghost with copperhead red dot scope and a wooden stock |
