first off, anyone know if getting a tattoo, such as a meat tag will make it so you cant become a sniper because it reveals your identity?

secondly, i am thinking of getting something Spartan like on my shoulder blade, anyone know of any pictures that would be a bad ass tattoo? ive been looking, but 300 always comes up, and that would be beyond cheesy.

Haha, both ideas are pretty horrible. I don't think I'd even wear a spartan shirt, let alone a tattoo.

Well get one, and get rid of it if you have to.

If you have to get rid of it, it has to be done like Gladiator. Cut it off with a rock.

I can't really answer your questions, but I did want to say don't listen to anyone on here. Get the tattoo you want regardless of what anyone says.

Not true. Even clandestine Ops can have ink. Obviously it limits your field of operation if you have a region/race/religion specific tattoo, but it doesn't exclude you from being a Clandestine Operative.

As far as actually getting a tattoo done. Get something you really really really want on your body for the rest of your life. Once it's on there, it's there for good.

evil elvis might be able to help you more on the first question

as for the second one, what about a spartan heltmet with two spears crossed behind it

or the shield, with the helmet on it, and a spear going straight down through the back, sort of like the delta force triangle symbol

Or a big "I like dongs" across your chest, with two crossed dongs underneath it.

yea choop the marines will love that

i would give him 5 minutes with that tattoo exposed before someone kicked his ass on post.

Tattoos are no longer permanent. Laser technology does a good job removing them these days.

Does it esclude you out of becoming a scout sniper?

Nope as long as you make the Indoc and pass the school your golden. As for Recon and other Highspeed bubbas I been told nope. As a matter of fact I am drawing a set of Meat Tags for a brother of mine.

As far as the Spartan Tattoo.. I always loved this patch.

Molon Able is Greek for "Come and Take it" like their Version of "Get Some" an infamous Marine Corps war cry.

So, you want to be a sniper? And you're a Marine?

Get something to honor/tribute Carlos Hathcock II. Makes sense.

Perhaps a white feather? Or something along that line.

Perhaps I should have clarified my response in that once it's on there, it's on there for good unless you like scarring, expensive surgery, and pain.

General cost estimates range from $3000 to $15,000 to get tattoos removed. $3,000 would be the cost of a small "girly" tattoo (butterfly on the ankle, whatever). Visits cost around $250-$300 per visit and it usually takes around 10 sessions/visits to remove all traces of the tattoo.

I waited until I was 45 before I got a tatoo, it's pretty personal (and permanent).  As for spartan, I work for a company called Spartan Controls, we had 3 buddies come in last summer and apply because they loved the movie and liked our logo, I laughed pretty hard.

Overrated from a critic's sense.

From a fans sense(particularly a male) it was pure awesomeness. So much killing.
