Hello tippmann comunity, I havnt played paintball in about 3 years... i quit a while ago and everyone knows ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO QUIT. Anyways i just purchased an x-7 and in order to get a free membership at the paintball feild (worth 200$) i have to spend 250$ at the proshop next door. What the hell do i spend it on to make my x7 better? i never thought spending money was hard... but i cant think of anything to buy exept the flatline or sumtin. btw i bought the e-grip x7 with a mask for 225$ :D in canada we had boxing day the site was buypbl.com but the specials are over.

Millsim or performance?

Looks like you got the main performance part. Unless you want a new barrel, you will probably be looking at millsim upgrades.

In that case, you have tons of options but they are really personaly opinion.

Aggreed. I sugest if your looking for millsim deck it out to look like a M-4 Carbine of MP5. Both verry nice.

Im sorry i didnt clarify, i prefer performance over looks. Intimidation and scary looks wont look good once you leave that feild all shot up. What can i get to make my x7 excel in performance. btw... i think the x7 is nice the way it is... plus x7's with all of those milsim upgrades is sorta pointless in my opinion i begins to all looks the same... a scope.. come on! who has time to look through a scope while your missing the rest of feild vision.

May I suggest a Palmers female Stabilizer with a 98C ASA mounting kit.

Though my X7 is Ebolted, I used the Palmers on it stock and it really
smooths out the spikes and recoil somewhat.

Well (and take my advice lightly I am a real noob) Go for a longer barrel, flatline or an Apex, maby a new board for the E-grip.

Oh BTW Sights do work. I have M-16 sights on my X-7 which I have actualy used to good effect.

Iron sights or a good RIS Red dot 1X40 work effectivly to judge where you want your shots, plus with red dot, it will give you a good idea where your accuracy is and distance to target. do the good ol' 40 pace mark to get ourself at about 35-45 yds and set up something to shoot......heck hang a milk jug with 16 oz of water in it for weight from a tree, and adjust your sights so your shots are at least consistanly on the mark or close enough to be in the sights all the time

Go for a nice J&J or Lapco barrel.  The J&J is quieter and is very accurate and the lapco is louder but accurate as well.  Personally I think the internals of the cyclone are fine unless you really need to push the marker to higher firing rates.  Also if you want milsim but some stabilizing of the marker a stock can be helpful.  Personally I like the 6 point CAR stocks and the folding stocks just in case you need to reposition it.
