1) He was director of north east operations, meaning he was the highest person in America for Tim Hortons.

2) Even if we DID own a TH franchise, it'd be better to have one here in America then in Canada for the simple reason that they are already everywhere in Canada. It's like opening a new Starbucks in Seattle... pointless.

Except is is a well known place here.

There are more Tim Hortons in Canada than any other fast food restaurant.

I heard once that it takes a million dollars just to be able to get the rights to open one up. Most of the time, it is more than made up for in a year.

Tim Hortons restaurants almost never fail in Canada, no matter how many there are. My town has only 30,000 people and we have like four of them.

Yeah, there's one in Providence. Well, maybe that's Warwick, or Cranston. I don't distinguish. Providence is Rhode Island to me.

Anyone ever heard the Lewis Black joke about a Starbucks across from a Starbucks?

Well my town has a Dunkin Donuts across from a Dunkin Donuts. It's not even on a main road. If there was a median or something you couldn't cross it might make sense. The walk from door to door is like walking across my yard.

But just FYI... the oil used to make the donuts = very very very hot. I got 3rd degree burns on my hands in 4th grade when I went to "Bring you kid to work day" and flipped some donuts.
