That's too far. I hate them so much. Speaking of though, I had the most mediocre kfc ever two nigts ago. They have become more expensive and crappier lately. |

im lucky enough to live a few miles from PETAs head quarters.
on occasion they will stand outside KFCs handing out buckets of fake(?) blood in buckets that look a lot like a KFC bucket. they also "rescued" dozens of animals from a local shelter just to kill them in the back of an SUV on the way to a dumpster... ------------- saving the world, one warship at a time. |

I used to be a member of PeTA. I dropped it when I started doing work for a newspaper. Some of their more fringe members are dumb. For the most part though, the mass of them are good people trying to do good things. The problem is the general public only hears about the fringe members, so you all can go on your "OMG PETA SUCKS LETS KILL STUFF NOW RAWR" rants. I will never understand why vegetarians gather so much scorn. -------------

You started with a good comparison, but ended in fail. Some vegetarians are like that, they will bug you if you eat meat, unfortunately. The large, large majority are people who for one reason or another just don't eat meat. They are just normal people. Just like how the vast majority of people in a religion are normal people, it is the smaller group that is the crazies. This idea that every vegetarian is out yelling at people eating meat and trying to "shove an agenda down your throat" is childish and freeperish. -------------
