That's too far.

I hate them so much.

Speaking of though, I had the most mediocre kfc ever two nigts ago.

They have become more expensive and crappier lately.

My house almost lost it's charter because of PETA. We won't go into details but I'll give you two words: Battle Tortoise.

The problem is, even someone who is sympathetic to PETA's anti-cruelty stance wouldn't admit it in public. PETA pulls stupid public attention stunts like this, they garner no respect.

im lucky enough to live a few miles from PETAs head quarters.

on occasion they will stand outside KFCs handing out buckets of fake(?) blood in buckets that look a lot like a KFC bucket.

they also "rescued" dozens of animals from a local shelter just to kill them in the back of an SUV on the way to a dumpster...

Mocking someone's gravestone is just lowly.

One day just start "drinking" it and just tell them you love the taste of innocent animals blood in the morning.

I'm reading something here that said they killed over 97% of animals in their care in 2006, that's over 3000.

I used to be a member of PeTA. I dropped it when I started doing work for a newspaper.

Some of their more fringe members are dumb. For the most part though, the mass of them are good people trying to do good things.

The problem is the general public only hears about the fringe members, so you all can go on your "OMG PETA SUCKS LETS KILL STUFF NOW RAWR" rants.

I will never understand why vegetarians gather so much scorn.

They garner so much scorn in the same way that religious nutjobs do.  Always trying to jam their agenda down people's throats when we don't want to hear about it.

You started with a good comparison, but ended in fail.

Some vegetarians are like that, they will bug you if you eat meat, unfortunately. The large, large majority are people who for one reason or another just don't eat meat. They are just normal people.

Just like how the vast majority of people in a religion are normal people, it is the smaller group that is the crazies.

This idea that every vegetarian is out yelling at people eating meat and trying to "shove an agenda down your throat" is childish and freeperish.

I was talking about the fringe nutso's like you did.  I know not all vegetarians are like that, sir.
