Can you put an E1/WB on a 98 for less than 50$? (already got E1/WB)

Just wondering, I have a 98 and a WB sitting around and access to a vertical mill, a dremel and maybe a tap and die. Im guessing the spring tension would have to be changed alot and some LP system would have to be put in so the sear doesnt get crumpled. I also have a nexus ram and a orracle tickler so maybe a complete switch could be done to a autococker/frankenstein/98.

looking for some opinions

You can do basically anything with a 98.

I can't say as to hard it would be though.

Corner Gas is an awesome show.

You'd have to modify the sear to catch the 98's hammer. As it is now, the hammer would slide off of the E-1 sear. Mind you, that's a waste of a frame that is no longer produced imho.
