Provide further specification on "s2" please.

How long have you had the marker?

Did it work ok before now?

Have you done any recent modifications.

By "dry fire" do you mean firing with air, but without paint?

Did you get a bit overzealous on the polished internals?

Make sure the edge of the sear where it catches the rear bolt isnt worn. Check for the same stuff on the rear bolt edge.

here you go mack http://www.pbreview.com/products/reviews/3765/ - jj s2 , and dry fire means no paint in gun.

it might be the sear, could be worn? or maybe the egrip bugging out?

kurieitaa, thanks for the on the barrel; hadn't seen that before.

The reason I asked about "dry fire" is that it seems to be a widely misused term in paintball.  Technically firing with the gun aired up, but without paint, is shooting blanks.  Dry firing is operating the firing mechanism without either.

yea it's an older barrel. "dry fire" and "blanks". i get that mixed up some times.
